Ülkantufe (singer) from Kechokawin, a community near Puerto Domínguez, located on the shores of Lake Budi, on the Araucanía coastline. He has always been committed to disseminating and sharing the Mapuche Lafkenche culture through the ül (singing). Not only in Chile but also in different corners of the Earth.
He has worked as a researcher, compiler, and composer. He has been the promoter of Tirúa and Puerto Saavedra’s Mapuche children’s orchestra.
His album “Choyün ülkantun” won the “Dissemination of Native Peoples’ Music” Award at the 2020 Pulsar Awards.
