
With 4 published albums, Adelaida is a consolidated and renowned Chilean Indie Rock band formed in Valparaíso in 2012 and is now based in Concepción.
After their debut album “Monolito” in 2014, they surprised everybody the following year with their album “Madre Culebra.” Recorded in New York and featuring legendary producer Jack Endino. In 2017, they released “Paraíso,” an album considered by the press as one of the best of the year and that won the Pulsar Award for Best Rock Artist in 2018.
Since then, they started performing throughout most of Chile and at international music festivals in Brazil, Spain, Mexico, and Canada. They also did an Asian tour with shows in several cities in China and Japan.
They have also participated in festivals such as SXSW 2015, Primavera Sound 2017, En Orbita 2018, Fauna primavera 2018, and Lollapalooza 2019, among others. The band stands as one of Chile’s most influential alternative rock projects. Influencing new generations with their heartbreaking sound and poetic lyrics.
In 2020, they released “Animita,” an album that once again positions them on the best album of the year rankings. This album also led them to win Best Independent Artist at the Indigo Awards and Best Rock Album and Best Rock Artist at the Escuchar Awards.
