Basque-Argentinean trio with an extensive international career. Sound: alternative rock, psychedelia, garage, and punk. Their fans include David Fricke, Pearl Jam, and Tony Visconti. For followers of Thee Oh Sees, King Gizzard, and David Bowie.
Led by husband and wife Martin and Coni, David Fricke -Rolling Stone magazine’s editor- compared them to bands The Cramps, X, or The Who. That’s because their sound combines the intensity of garage rock and the roots of rock & roll with post-punk, noise, and dark psychedelia. All this is delivered with powerful and visceral energy.
Their live act is highly recommended as an experience worth living. To such an extent, in 2009, David Fricke, The Austin Chronicle, and the Chicago Tribune declared them the best band at SXSW 2009.
