FLUVIAL ARTISTA
Simón Campusano
Simón Campusano began forging his solo work in 2017 while producing Lance –Niños del Cerro’s second album. He was 24 years old, and for the first time, he began to write songs in a different line with the band’s aesthetics. With the acoustic guitar as the protagonist, plus electronic sounds and more intimate themes accumulated for two years, in 2018, together with Diego Lorenzini, he presented his first single as a soloist: “Serotonina.” Well into 2019, he joined producer Merci Merci (Martín Perez Roa) and recorded a dozen songs that shaped his album, Brillo. In 2023, he renewed his personal proposal with ‘Sobre habitar la Depresión Intermedia,’ a five-song EP with the acoustic guitar playing on interventions from the sidewalk of hyper pop, made in collaboration with producer Yaima Cat and released under Fisura label.
