The Valdivia Chamber Orchestra (OCV) is a professional orchestra founded in 2010 at the Universidad Austral de Chile. It is based in Valdivia and has been dedicated to promoting the cultural growth of the country’s southern region. One of its goals is to provide access to artistic events to people from different geographical and social backgrounds who may have less opportunity to experience them. Funding for the OCV comes from various sources, including the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, cultural donations, the Regional Government, and the UACh.
