Puerto Montt – Chile

Ngenko is the solo project of Chilean multi-genre artist Sara Pozo, from Puerto Montt. Always recognized for her avant-garde songwriting, she fully refined her artistic vision through Ngenko, a project that came to life after she relocated to Argentina.

Born in southern Chile and raised alongside Mapuche-Huilliche communities, the wisdom of nature is deeply woven into her artistic vision, where desire and heartbreak are portrayed through the ethereal voice that defines her sound.

As Ngenko, her folkloric and more classically rooted influences have evolved into an electronic form, establishing her presence in the underground scenes of Chile and Buenos Aires while moving through sounds associated with Avant-Pop, Trip-Hop, and Drum and Bass. With BLOOM, her upcoming album, scheduled for release in November 2026, she delves fully into this sonic world through her own productions and collaborations with artists from across Latin America.
