Carlita Ampuero is a singer and composer from Tomé. Under the musical influence present in her family, her artistic talents flourished during her school years, starting at the age of 13, making incursions into the style of Rock music. Later, within her studies of phonoaudiology, she begins to work on the lyrics of what would be her next songs, which would show what Carlita wanted to make known and express in her moments; besides perfecting her knowledge on the care and work of her voice, complementing herself with singing teachers and phonoaudiologists.

The beginning of her career as a soloist is framed by her first album “Abrazo de Árbol”, created in the summer of 2018 together with the record label South Records. This album marks the beginning of her search for who Carlita is in music, the lyrics she had built up over a long period of time could finally be captured in various sounds, but always respecting the motto of the composition: to represent a liberation from the different types of love we can feel towards the different people around us, be it in the romantic, family or friendship field.

As far as Carlita’s current affairs are concerned, in this 2020 she will already release her first singles “Acorazada” and “Me Desprendo”, to which she will add in the month of December “Vuelvo”, thus marking the prelude to her next great release, her new album. With it he will establish a change of course with regard to his previous compositions, showing in his lyrics a phase of own forgiveness and towards the rest creating instances of reflection; and together with this a cycle will be closed that will generate a change of sound, creating a better version of itself, but without leaving aside its essence.
