himodamia-2

Himodamia is an independent instrumental band formed in 2017 in Valdivia, Chile, by Carlos Zúñiga (guitar and synths) and Antonio Little (drums). The band combines in their own style elements of progressive rock, fusion jazz and electronic music, they started as an improvisation sound experiment duo, from which their first compositions were born. With their esthetic concept been solved, and after a year of work at the studio, Felipe Pinto (alto sax), Lucas Mosquera (tenor sax) and Luis Alvarado (bass guitar) join the band, who nurture the initial proposal with musical shades and melodic lines. In constant movement throughout the Valdivian music scene, the band has performed together with local and foreign peers such as: Adelaide, Fuma y baila, Cola de Zorro, Travis Moreno, Sube, among others. The band has an EP called “MODE1”, published by Valdivian label Comarca Records in 2019. They are currently working on their first LP.
