Talca, Chile

Diego Lorenzini (Talca, 1984) is a Chilean illustrator, singer-songwriter, and music producer. Spanish magazine Rockdelux proclaimed him as the best lyricist in Chile today. Lorenzini has released as a solo artist the albums “Palabritas y Palabrotas,” “De Algo Hay Que Morir” (2019), “Pino” (2016), “Trenzas Ad Honorem” (2013), and the EP “Tres Retratos Hasta el Minuto” (2011). He is a member of the post-punk band TUS AMIGOS NUEVOS and the non-experimental music band LOS VARIOSARTISTAS.

We can find his work as a music producer on the albums “Loza” (2017) by NIÑA TORMENTA, “Arriba es Abajo” (2018) by CHINI AND THE TECHNICIANS and “Lo Primero” (2018) by ROSARIO ALFONSO. In the 2019 edition of the PULSAR AWARDS, the most important recognition in Chilean music, Lorenzini received three awards for “BEST SONGWRITER,” “BEST RECORD ART” for his solo work, and “BEST ROCK ARTIST” for his work with TUS AMIGOS NUEVOS. Since 2011, he has led the collective management label UVA ROBOT, which is dedicated to producing and distributing rare songs ordinary people make. He currently resides in Barcelona, Spain.
