María y los Templos is singer, guitarist and composer María Segú’s Indie-Jazz project. Born in the Santiago jazz circuit in 2019, the project explores and converses with elements of different musical styles, such as Jazz, Folk, and Electronic music, to generate quests around sound, lyrics, and improvisation. María is currently based in Valdivia, where she composed the project’s debut studio album “La Prenda,” resulting from years of contribution to the emerging Chilean Jazz scene.
