Hailing from Santiago, Chile, Chicarica continues the country’s synthpop tradition. Their debut EP Dale Mami (2018, Cazador) and first album Arde Lento (2021, Quemasucabeza) showcased their ethereal sound, leading to a remix edition with Chilean electronic artists. Blending Lorena’s vocals, dreamy synths, and danceable rhythms, they’ve gained attention from Rolling Stone, Billboard, and more. Now independent, they launch a new era with their latest album Invierno en la playa.
