Chile – Concepción

Anomie is an experimental black metal band formed in 2020 in Concepción, Chile. Their sound blends elements of atmospheric black metal, post-rock, and contemporary progressive rock.

In 2022, the band released their debut EP, Mandrágora Autumnalis, accompanied by the music video for “Mandrágora Autumnalis III.” Since then, they have shared the stage with bands such as Inanna, Soga, Thisquietarmy (Canada), and Rats of Gomorrah (Germany), among others.

Anomie is currently promoting their sophomore album, Virtus Pereundi, which is available on all major streaming platforms. In support of the release, they have performed alongside prominent acts including Mawiza, Recrucide, Mar de Grises, Decessus, and Pentagram, continuing to strengthen their presence within the Chilean and Latin American extreme metal scene.

Their most recent milestone was being selected to perform at REC 2026 (Rock en Conce), one of Chile’s largest free music festivals, marking another significant step in the band’s artistic growth and national recognition.
