Playroots is the musical project of Chilean producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ Aníbal Valenzuela. Rooted in downtempo, organic house and dub, his music weaves together electronic production and organic instruments, building bridges between contemporary electronic music and diverse sonic traditions. He has completed three European tours, performing at festivals such as Fusion, Ozora and Mera World Music, as well as venues including Beachouse and BOHO (Ibiza), Holzmarkt (Berlin) and Bonjuk Bay (Turkey), among others. His music has been released independently and through labels such as Café De Anatolia, Ritmos del Sur and New Latam Beats.
