Fluvial 2025 announces part of its artists and conference lineup

Musical diversity, new voices, and experiences that establish Fluvial as a benchmark for independent music in the Southern Cone.
International delegations, a strengthened independent industry, and a memorable year-end in Valdivia.
A DIVERSE AND INTERNATIONAL GATHERING
From December 10 to 13, Valdivia will become the meeting point for music and the creative industries in the Southern Cone with the ninth edition of Fluvial, bringing together more than 40 national and international artistic proposals in the unique setting of Chilean Patagonia.
THE BEST OF NEW CHILEAN AND INTERNATIONAL MUSIC
The lineup includes artists such as Hesse Kassel, Candelabro, and chicarica—representing diverse genres and aesthetics that combine the freshness of new projects with the maturity of established acts.
They are joined by DrefQuila, a key figure in Chilean urban music whose sound blends trap, hip-hop, soul, Brazilian funk, and reggaetón; Andrea Cruz, a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter with three albums and an NPR Tiny Desk, now presenting her fourth album Bienquererse; El Cómodo Silencio de los que Hablan Poco, a Chilean band that fuses emo, noise rock, and post-rock with influences from Latin American folklore; and Carmen Lienqueo, a folk-rooted singer-songwriter who explores Latin American rhythms with an intimate and poetic repertoire after more than two decades of trajectory. + info
Across the three days, multiple meeting spaces will foster community among musicians, opening doors to new cultural alliances and business opportunities.
INDIGENOUS PEOPLE AND ARTISTIC CROSSOVERS

Continuing the work Fluvial has historically developed around Indigenous Peoples, this edition once again centers ancestral music and its contemporary reinterpretations, consolidating a pan-American reference space for the visibility and articulation of these cultural expressions.
The aim is to create stages for Indigenous artists from Chile and other countries in the region, while highlighting the cultural and political value of this music in the international industry agenda.
Additionally, the Pacífica Project will be featured—a residency program for women and non-binary people exploring the experimental intersection between electronic and pop music. This is a joint initiative by the Goethe-Institut in Chile and Colombia, the IME Chile Trade Association, and the NAVE Creation and Residency Center. The selected projects are: anthï and Darla Quintana from Chile, and Sara Delirio and La Roja from Colombia.
INNOVATION AND BUSINESS FOR MUSIC
The second edition of Fluvial Sync is confirmed—a program dedicated to music synchronization for film, television, and digital media, which, in its first version, generated concrete results for local artists and projects.
Alongside this, Valdivia will host a session of WIN for Music’s BRIDGE project, a global initiative that seeks to strengthen the position of independent music in the digital ecosystem through resources, networks, and collaborative activities.

LOS RÍOS CREATIVE AND TOURISM HUB
As part of the closing activities of the Los Ríos Creative and Tourism Hub, the first business roundtable linking the creative industry with tourism initiatives in the region will be held.
This unprecedented event in Chile seeks to diversify the traditional business matrix of music and generate synergies with tourism, opening a new space for the development of the creative industries.
The event will feature key speakers on topics such as nighttime economy, territorial development, and creative tourism, contributing new perspectives to articulate cultural and tourism policies that strengthen cultural and economic development nationwide.

At the same event, certifications will be awarded to all entrepreneurs from the tourist destinations that have participated in the Training and Technology Transfer Program. This initiative, carried out by the Universidad Austral de Chile and funded by the Los Ríos Regional Government, lays the groundwork for regional development based on the joint work of tourism and the creative industries.
MUSIC, CITY, AND FESTIVE ATMOSPHERE
Fluvial is also a musical, urban, and festive experience: concerts across diverse city stages, artistic encounters, local gastronomy, creative tourism, and an atmosphere that invites everyone to celebrate together.
This is the most important independent music industry event in the Southern Cone, in Chilean Patagonia, where creativity, innovation, territory, and culture come together to end the year in the best possible way.
Soon, Fluvial will reveal the list of international guests and delegates, completing the outlook of a unique global gathering.
