A veteran of the stage as a trombonist, agitator and author for 20 years in a number of musical projects (1,000 concerts in France and abroad) and a player in the music world for over 30 years in major French events (Fiesta des Suds, Babel Med Music, Zik Zac Festival, Nuits Métis, etc.), Olivier Rey is director of Babel Music XP, the economic and cultural forum for the world’s contemporary music, held in Marseille, France. A veritable Mediterranean hub for world music, the event is held every year in March and brings together the entire music industry at its international trade fair, professional meetings and festival.
