He has a Master’s Degree in Composition from the Universidad de Chile and has published 22 albums. He has composed music for audiovisuals, theater, and ballet in Chile and abroad. Classical, popular, ethnic, and electronic instrumentation are all used in his works. He performs live and tours frequently. In 1993, he founded the MUNDOVIVO label (www.mundovivo.cl). He was awarded the National Music Award “President of the Republic” in 2011. He has produced over 80 albums in world music, jazz, and ethnic styles.

Additionally, he is the programmer and director of the “Festival de Músicas del Mundo” and the producer and host of the Radio ADN-Chile program “Mundovivo, Música para Vivir Mejor” (which has 20,000 listeners per week). He also participated as a coach in the international program “Global Music Match” (www.globalmusicmatch.com) during 2021 and 2022. In 2023, he composed and produced the original music for the Closing Ceremonies of the Pan American and Parapan American Games Stgo 2023.
